What is your minimum charge?
What is your policy on deposits?

We do require a €50 deposit to hold your tattoo booking, and €100 for larger pieces. This deposit comes off your final price of the tattoo.

All payments made, including payments made in-full for tattoo sessions, are non-refundable in cash value. A gift voucher may be issued for use in the shop, after deposit amount has been removed, if you are unable to make your appointment.

Piercings require a €10 deposit to hold your booking and this deposit comes off your final price of the piercing.

Deposits are non-refundable. We require 48 hours notice for cancellations or your deposit will be lost. No exceptions.
How do I book a consultation?
How old do I need to be to get a tattoo or piercing?

Tattoos:
You must be 18 or over to get a tattoo. No Exceptions.

Piercings:
Piercings for under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Lobe: 8 years+
Helix: 15 years+
Daith: 15 years+
Tragus: 15 years+
Conch 15 years+
Scaffold: 15 years+
Snug: 15 years+
Nose: 15 years+

What does it mean when you say you are a custom tattoo shop?
Do you do cover ups/touch ups?

We do indeed. But it is important to keep in mind that not all tattoos can be covered, and your artist may recommend that you have a few sessions of laser removal first, which we can do here for you in Loud Ink. How does laser removal work?

Laser tattoo removal is a process where a high powered light penetrates through the top layers of skin and hits larger molecules of ink, subsequently breaking them down to be absorbed by the body. Ideally, laser removal will remove all evidence of a tattoo with no marking or scarring. Although we do strive to give the optimal result, some types of ink are harder to remove than others, and complete removal is not always possible.
How do I make an appointment?

Tattoos:

You can call in to the studio anytime from 11-6 Monday – Saturday or 12-4 on Sunday, to make a booking. We do require a €50 deposit to hold your booking, and €100 for larger pieces. This deposit comes off your final price of the tattoo. If you are unable to call into Loud Ink, you can contact us through our Booking Inquiry Form, email or social media accounts and we can guide you through the process.

Piercings:

You can book piercings on our website. We require a €10 deposit to hold your piercing booking.
Is there an age limit on getting a tattoo/piercing?

Yes. You must be over 18 to be tattooed with us and have valid government ID with you when making your appointment and on the day of your tattoo. For piercings such as nipples, tongue, genital etc. you must be over 18 with ID, no exceptions. For all other piercings you must be over 16. If you are under 18 you must have a parent in the studio with you to sign the consent form.
How do I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

It is important you get a good night sleep before coming in to have your tattoo done, getting tattoos can be stressful and you will be nervous so if your rested this will aid how your feeling. Do not drink too much caffeine or energy drinks. They make you tense and will not help stress levels. Shower and wear clean clothes to your appointment, careful hygiene practice starts the minute you walk in the door. Be aware that depending on placement of your tattoo, you may be required to take off certain items of clothing, to make things more comfortable for you we suggest bringing a bikini top or shorts in preparation if necessary. Loud Ink is an open studio but we do have dividers and a room available in the back, for your privacy.
What should I bring to my consultation?

Bring all the images or references you have saved or printed off to show your artist. This helps your artist have a better idea of what your actually looking for. If you don’t have any reference images, just prepare yourself to give a clear description of what you’re looking to have done. You will also need a deposit, the deposit ranges from €50-€100 depending on the size of your tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable and we do require a 48 hour notice if you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment, otherwise your deposit is lost.
